

Psalms 120-134 are known as the Psalms of Ascent. The people of Israel used these psalms to encourage and foster faith in Yahweh during their three annual pilgrimages home to Jerusalem for the feasts of Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles.


“There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death” (Proverbs 14:12). Ruin rarely begins with someone deliberately choosing evil. More often, it begins when something good becomes something more. This August we’re studying six “Roads to Ruin:” hurt, power, anger, doubt, success, and desire, and finding the better way of Jesus through them.
